This one-day course is designed to help service agencies; corporations, governmental departments, and contractors embrace diverse interactions with Aboriginal people, and communities.
Participants are provided with historical information and critically informed details required to strengthen service delivery practices and build mutually constructive relationships with valued clients, customers and stakeholders.
This course also provides an overview Aboriginal history; from the effects of colonization and government policies (e.g., residential schools, 60’s Scoop, etc.) and the Indian Act, to the recommendations of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada.
