Course Outline

This course is designed to help frontline staff, team leads, and HR professionals to create sustainable human capital projects that embrace culturally diverse interactions. As a result, participants receive a practical skill set for everyday workplace interactions: from communication and collaboration to performance management. This course also provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Aboriginal peoples—from the effects of colonization and government policies (e.g., residential schools, 60’s Scoop, etc.) and the Indian Act to the recommendations by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada and current indigenous issues and realities.
