Medication Delivery, Hand Hygiene, and Infection Control
Through years of experience working with community health and human service organizations, the CAC Learning Centre relies on theory-based evidence to provide relevant, practical training programs. Taught by a Registered Nurse, this 1/2 day course trains frontline staff in the safe and effective delivery of medication to persons served. Also, the course covers varied topics pertaining to medical administration and clinical practices, including hand hygiene and glove use, food preparation and handling, influenza prevention, and isolation precautions.

• Learn best practices and protocols in medication delivery/administration, medication self-administration, hand hygiene, and infection control
• Learn documentation and reporting requirements for issues related to medication and adverse effects in persons served
