Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is emergency assistance provided to a person developing a mental health concern or crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis is resolved. MHFA is a 2 day, 12-hour training course delivered in three, 3-hour modules. Participants will learn how to provide initial help to people who are showing signs of a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. *Course fee includes a CMHFA Manual ($35.00 value).
