Preparation for Safe Work Training
Effective training and orientation are the key to staying safe while at work. This safety orientation training helps companies and individuals avoid life changing and costly work-related injuries. This 3-hour in-class course covers an introduction to safety training. It will also increase one’s awareness of what is expected of participants during such training and will provide a brief overview on the difference between First Aid levels A, B, C, HCP, WHMIS, and CSTS. This comprehensive three-hour course is designed for individuals who are new to Alberta's job market and are looking for future employment in food service and hospitality, trades, child care, senior care etc. No certification or exam.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE / GOALS:
• Increase your knowledge of operational health and safety at the workplace and its provincial/territorial regulations (Ideally suited as Core training for those who are new to working in safety sensitive environments.)
